I graduated from Rockhurst University in 1988 with a B.A. in English. I then attended the Saint Louis University School of Law and received my Juris Doctorate in 1992. I am licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, but have also represented clients in other states via motions to appear pro hac vice. In addition, I have been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
I have been practicing law for 23 years. I was a staff attorney for a large insurance company for the first 10 years of my career, but resigned in 2002 and have been representing real people ever since. The focus of my practice is litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation and family law. I have tried countless cases to verdict; I have argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Illinois Appellate Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
